This week the FyFYI nerds hit the ground running with a whole mess of listener submissions. The internet’s reaction to the PSN being down sends Pete into a tizzy. Socom 4 is forced into single player mode and comes out with surprising results. Pete and Bill ponder the practice of dudes using mostly naked girls as avatars and remember what it was like to be young and cool. Mortal Kombat and Portal 2 (spoiler free, we promise) are awesome but you probably already know that. Reach us at: FYIFeedback@gmail.com |

On the eve of the greatest release day in petedodd history, Pete and Bill delve into the weird world of watching TV together over the internet and then touch on Castlevania for a quick second just to make sure it's still awesome. The Witcher 2 may be what Dragon Age 2 ain't. Pete and Dangerwife hop into a car at midnight to drive into New Jersey to buy a Sharpshooter in preparation for Socom 4. Pete tries to actually be a podcast editor and the world is worse off for it. God tells Noah his future: It's gonna rain. All of this and some idle chatter about how sometimes we just want a sequel to perfect and not reinvent, even though we've spent 91 episodes saying otherwise. |

We hit the ground running with Pete finally getting into Castlevania: LoS and giving it the love it deserves. Bill didn’t believe us but Crysis 2 really is an amazing shooter. Microsoft is making money like nobody’s business but at what point will hardcore gamers stop caring? Wow, that actually sounds like a real news-ish topic. We’re sorry. Pete and Bill touch on Socom 4 very quickly (promise!), why after weeks of not caring that we are getting a bit hyped on Portal 2 and finish off with listener internet communications. |

This week Bill plays Shift 2 for half of half an hour, baseball is in full swing (get it?) as Bill's road to the show meets his childhood inadequacies. Pete's attempt to get into Homefront is called off on the account of the game being entirely mediocre. Oldies but kinda goodies Left 4 Dead and Split/Second get thrown through the ringer. Bill teaches all of mankind how to be more productive at work with the help of youtube and a general disdain towards females. Pete makes up for it though by hanging with the 12 year old girls in Free Realms. |
